AEW All Out 2022: New Title Matches Announced; Updated Card

The tradition of top AEW Champions getting injured continued resulting in the change of a major title match at the AEW All Out 2022 card. The initially announced AEW Women’s World Title Match is no more be happening.

Over on this week’s Dynamite, The current AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa announced in a backstage promo that an injury won’t allow her to defend her title at AEW All Out 2022. She was scheduled to defend the title against the Number-One Contender for AEW Women’s World Title, Toni Storm in a rematch from Forbidden Door PPV.

In Rosa’s absence, an interim AEW Women’s World Champion will be crowned at AEW All Out 2022 via a Fatal-4-Way match featuring Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida. Shida will also team up with Storm, next week on Dynamite for a tag team matchup against Baker and Hayter.

Colten Gunn of the Gunn Club defeated The Acclaimed’s partner, Billy Gunn in a match after which the faction then beat up Billy and The Acclaimed until Swerve In Our Glory appeared and made the heels retreat. Afterward, in a backstage segment, Lee and Swerve named The Acclaimed as their new challengers.

In another major matchup at AEW All Out 2022, former WWE Champions, Bryan Danielson, and Chris Jericho will compete in a singles matchup. This match came after the two had a confrontation in the ring on Dynamite. Bryan challenged for the match to be accepted, right away.
