With All Elite Wrestling still boasting on the success of last night’s All In show, builds for AEW All Out 2023 have also begun given that only six days are remaining before the annual show. A new match for the upcoming event has been confirmed while new details have also emerged for the 2024 edition.

During the post-All In media scrum, All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan confirmed a new match for next Sunday’s AEW All Out 2023 event — Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita.

“I am willing to book it and I think it will be a great match and based on what I saw tonight here [at All In], it was a classic match,” Khan stated during the media event following All In.

Before Khan made the match official for AEW All Out 2023, Don Callis revealed about the match that Takeshita wanted to “test” himself against Omega for years and that he would love this bout to take place in front of the rowdy crowd of Chicago. Callis later noted how they weren’t satisfied with Takeshita beating Omega in a Trios match at All In. Takeshita admittedly wants to prove that he could beat Omega in a singles contest.

AEW All Out 2023: Multiple Matches already announced for PPV

More matches have already been announced for AEW All Out 2023 which include Luchasaurus defending the TNT Championship against Darby Allin. Powerhouse Hobbs will go up against Miro while Kris Statlander will be defending her AEW TBS Championship against Ruby Soho. Besides, Jon Moxley has already secured a title match opportunity on the show.

AEW All Out 2023 is scheduled to go down at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, this Sunday night. During the All In post-show media scrum, Tony Khan also revealed that like this year’s All Out, he wants next year’s edition to take place a week after All In. Khan believes that they have the capacity to what it takes to host two PPV events in two back-to-back weekends to start a new tradition,

“I try to build traditions and we have something really special that we did tonight and that’s why this same bank holiday weekend, I want people to know bank holiday weekend, Sunday, Wembley, that’s a tradition. In America, [it’s] a three-day weekend, Labor Day weekend. They have the bank holiday in America next weekend.”
