Jade Cargill will put her undefeated streak as well as her title on the line at next weekend’s AEW Double or Nothing 2023 event. As announced during the latest episode of Rampage, Jade was confirmed to defend her TBS Championship against Taya Valkyrie in the aforementioned event.
During the May 19 episode of AEW Rampage, Jade Cargill successfully defended her TBS Championship against two consecutive fresh talents in rapid fashion as part of an open challenge. When a third one was coming out to the ring, Valkyrie suddenly appeared and leveled her out of nowhere. As a result, the match never went down.
Valkyrie then headed to the ring to confront Cargill and downed her with a clothesline and then with the Road to Valhalla. Valkyrie then held up the TBS Championship and told Cargill that she’ll see her at the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing 2023 pay-per-view with the title on the line.
AEW Dynamite: Saraya Unhappy About Misconstrued Words On “Issue That Women Deal”
After debuting on AEW programming, a few weeks ago, Valkyrie first collided with Jade for the title on the April 26 episode of AEW Dynamite and came up short. The feud has since been heating up since they both use similar finishers. Valkyrie, a former Impact Knockouts Champion and a former WWE Superstar under the name of Frankie Monet is said to be the name who might end up dethroning Cargill from her record-breaking title reign at AEW Double or Nothing 2023.
