Former WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole will compete in his first-ever match in All Elite Wrestling on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as he will face Frankie Kazarian. Following his huge debut at All Out PPV event this past Sunday, Cole besided himself with The Elite faction.
Then he made an appearance on this week’s AEW Dynamite from Cincinnati, Ohio. Cole said that All Elite Wrestling is the greatest professional wrestling company in the world because of The Elite! He also said that for the past 14 years, he’s shown the world that he’s a once-in-a-generation wrestler. Cole also mentioned Omega being a once-in-a-lifetime wrestler. He then announced that he’s going to make his AEW in-ring debut on next week’s show against Kazarian.

Kenny Omega had a confrontation with Bryan Danielson during this week’s episode where the latter challenged the champion for a mega title match. The duo got physical in a brawl where Christian Cage, Jurassic Express ran out to neutralize The Elite. It’s expected that Omega vs. Bryan will go down but it may not happen until the next AEW PPV event, Full Gear.

Cody Rhodes to return on AEW Dynamite
On September 22, a special episode of AEW Dynamite titled “AEW Grand Slam” will take place, where Cody Rhodes will make his in-ring return. He will face Malakai Black (fka Aleister Black) in a rematch. Black destroyed Cody in their first match against each other following his recent AEW debut, and Cody teased retirement after that loss (in a kayfabe perspective). This week, Black also defeated Cody’s elder brother Dustin Rhodes fka Goldust in a singles competition.
