In the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland made Christian Cage say ‘I Quit’ in the main event bout. In a gruesome match that was the headliner of this special episode in Toronto, the former 11-time world champion was thus got to become a two-time TNT Champion in All Elite Wrestling.
Given the I Quit capacity of the match, the two got to battle each other using several toys like chairs, hockey sticks, ringside objects, and more. During the end of the match on AEW Dynamite, the rest of the Patriarchy got involved to give the upper hand to Cage but they were neutralized by Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia.

Once the dust cleared, Cage was handcuffed in the corner alongside the latter’s allies, Nick Wayne and Killswitch. Afterward, Copeland took out his prized weapon, a barbed wire baseball bat named Spike, and went low on Cage. After he attempted to hit Cage with the Spike in the head, Cage stated I Quit to conclude the match on AEW Dynamite.
AEW Dynamite: Adam Copeland starts second reign with TNT Title
With this win, Copeland has now started the second reign with the title. At Worlds End in December, Copeland initially won the title from Cage but he lost the title, moments later. Killswitch laid out Copeland after which Cage forced Killswitch to give him the TNT title match contract that Killswitch had won earlier in the night. Cage restarted the match and pinned Copeland to win back the title, immediately.
Since that night, Copeland had attempted to have a rematch against Cage and win the title. It was two weeks ago on AEW Dynamite that Cage and the Patriarchy attacked Copeland during a number one contender’s match against Daniel Garcia after which Copeland returned and went after Cage. The latter ran to the back and drove off after which Copeland challenged Cage to the I Quit match.
Also on AEW Dynamite, Kazchika Okada defeated Eddie Kingston to win the continental title after Kingston missed a back fist, allowing Okada to pin Kingston with a landslide and the rainmaker clothesline. Once the match was over, PAC came out and stared him down to hint at a fresh feud. Following this win of Okada, the Continental Title was separated from the New Japan Strong Openweight and the ROH World Championships.
