ToggleA big debut is going to be the highlight for next week’s AEW Dynamite where a soon-to-be-adult will finally be competing on AEW TV. Nick Wayne who will turn 18, this Monday will finally make his much-anticipated debut by competing against Swerve Strickland.
Wayne was originally signed to AEW in part of 2022 and he already competed against Strickland, Will Ospreay, Wheeler Yuta, Bandido, Konosuke Takeshita, El Hijo del Vikingo in dark matches. But being a future star power, people were eager to see him on TV and that’s finally going to happen on AEW Dynamite, next week.

AEW Blind Eliminator Tag Tourney continues next week
The Blind Eliminator Tag Tournaments will also continue as current rivals Adam Cole and AEW World Champion MJF will again team up and compete against the team of Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy. This week, the unlikely allies defeated The Butcher & Matt Menard to advance. After the match, MJF also threw a surprise birthday party for Cole. In another qualifier, Darby Allin and AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy defeated Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland to advance.

An Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semifinal Match will also be seen on the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite when Ruby Soho faces Skye Blue. Soho advanced to the next round by defeating Dr. Britt Baker, this week while Blue already advanced last week. The current match card for the July 12 episode of AEW Dynamite stands as follows,

Loaded card for the 100th episode of AEW Rampage was also announced with the potential headliner being Matt Hardy and Jeff teaming up against Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia in a Blind Eliminator Tag Tournament. These two teams were formed on AEW Dynamite after blind draws. The full card for this week’s Rampage is given below:
