Saraya, former WWE Divas Champion Paige made her AEW debut during the AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam edition in September. Since then, she has also made her in-ring return in late November to the delight of her worldwide fans. That feud with Britt Baker will continue when she competes in a tag team match marking the second only match in her second pro-wrestling stint.
Saraya gained new friends in Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida during her feud with Baker and one of them was revealed to be her mystery tag team partner for the upcoming match.

Saraya appeared in an interview on Dynamite
During the January 4, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya, Toni Storm, and Hikaru Shida were interviewed by Renee Paquette. Saraya said AEW had the best wrestlers in the world and one of those was sitting next to her. It was then that the former WWE Superstar handpicked Toni Storm as her tag team partner against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.

Spoilers were out regarding Saraya’s announcement
Her decision came as a huge surprise to both Renee and Shida as well as the AEW viewers as they have been expecting a huge surprise in this capacity. Sasha Banks is being widely speculated to show up as Saraya’s tag team partner on the January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite. But for the time being, Storm has been confirmed to be the mystery name.
Fightful Select reported that Saraya’s partner was not supposed to be announced on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite in Seattle, Washington. A promo from Saraya was rather revealed which would “make it pretty evident” who her mysterious ally will be. The report noted that plans could change which brought Storm into the mix but things should change as there’s still some confusion.
