Over on Dynamite, the current first and second-ranked women in the company battled for the contender’s spot and it wasn’t explicitly stated that the winner would challenge Storm. The two had a back-and-forth battle, with Storm being on commentary.

Rosa countered a May Day from Mariah, hit a Backstabber, and then a Tijuana Bomb for the pin to win. Following her victory, Rosa challenged Storm and attempted to get in her face before being held back by a referee. It was then on the screen that the graphic for AEW Dynasty 2024 appeared and confirmed that the match was happening within a few weeks.
