AEW Winter is Coming 2022 specials will celebrate the third anniversary, this year following the inaugural edition in 2020. The company likes to add gimmicks to their weekly episode of Dynamite just like the recently done Grand Slam and one more such episode will be in store in the final month of the year.
As per the official announcement, AEW Winter is Coming 2022 will take place at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas on December 14, 2022. Tickets for the TV special are available at this link. Check out the statement posted on Twitter by AEW,

It’s expected that some big happenings will be reserved for AEW Winter is Coming 2022 going by the previous editions. Kenny Omega won his first and only AEW World Championship during this TV special while MJF and Dante Martin fought for the Diamond Ring during the show’s main event, last year. Also back in 2020, legendary Sting made his debut on AEW TV during this show.

Tony Khan recently sat down with 105.3 The Fan for an interview where he talked about several things including AEW Winter is Coming 2022. The possibility is that this show may be turning into an annual special,
“I do think if the numbers on TNT and TBS keep up where they’re at, you all keep doing a great job watching the shows and supporting us, why not [do the show in Dallas]. Let’s keep going, I love the Dallas market and there’s a good chance we’ll come back and do Winter is Coming again this year. Let’s do it.”
