One of the most trustworthy shoulders of the WWE female roster, Alexa Bliss is away from TV for the past few months. Initially, the absence started due to minor surgery reasons shortly after Royal Rumble in January but sooner it was extended as her pregnancy news was out via social media.
Alexa Bliss is due with her first baby with husband Ryan Cabrera by the end of this year and it’s safe to assume that she’s not returning on WWE TV in 2023. Many also questioned whether her wrestling career would be in jeopardy, altogether due to the commencement of motherhood. But that won’t stop her from wrestling in the ring in the future.

Alexa Bliss plans on making an in-ring return soon after delivery
We can assume that Alexa Bliss is trying hard to be in shape as much as possible as she previously noted that soon after delivering her baby, she will be back inside the squared circle to fulfill her obligations with the company.
While speaking with The Messenger, Alexa Bliss offered her gratitude to the WWE for allowing her to go to The Masked Singer. She also revealed that her contract with the company was extended and this is the reason that she plans on making an in-ring return, soon after giving birth,
“WWE gave me time off for [Masked Singer] to kind of fully dive into that experience with rehearsals, vocal lessons, and all that stuff. Storyline-wise, I was not on TV anyway, so it really kind of worked out perfectly.
[WWE] extended my contract, and so it’s just basically come back when I’m ready. Probably a month after the baby, I’ll start probably getting back into the gym, and getting ready for to see what my in-ring return looks like.”
Alexa Bliss last wrestled at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, where she challenged Bianca Belair in a match for the Raw Women’s Championship and failed. After the match, she had a confrontation with Uncle Howdy to tease that the alliance with Bray Wyatt could be back. But soon after that PLE, she went into a hiatus alongside Wyatt to scrap those plans.
