One of the main events of WWE Survivor Series 2021 will witness Charlotte Flair going up against long-time rival Becky Lynch. This is a PPV tradition, where the Smackdown Women’s champion will square off in a non-title, Champion vs. Champion bout against Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
While the WWE Universe witnessed this matchup on several occasions in the past, the situation around Survivor Series 2021 is slightly different, this time around. Ever since that controversial title exchange segment on Smackdown, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch are heaving a real-life beef. Recently, Lynch also clarified that they’re not on talking terms which could be hindering them in producing a solid matchup.

Becky Lynch claims Survivor Series 2021 stakes are outdated
As per the comments of Big Time Becks, the matchup definitely needs additional stakes as the brand supremacy stakes at Survivor Series 2021 was kind of an “outdated” thing,
“Yeah, that would be helpful,” Lynch said about Survivor Series 2021 adding that WWE should give something more to the winners. “I don’t know if — yeah, the old brand supremacy is a little outdated, I don’t know. At the same time, we’re all competitors. So, you always want to be the best. Whatever it is, whatever carrot they dangle.”
“You always want to be the best, whether it’s the winner gets a frickin’ banana. It’s like, ‘Well, I want that frickin’ banana. I wanna prove that I deserve that banana.’ You always want to be the best. Whatever the logic is, you can make it work when you are a competitive human, which we all are. You don’t get to WWE if you’re not competitive.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
WWE Survivor Series 2021: Battle Royal Announced For The Rock’s 25th Anniversary
Previously, King Xavier Woods had wondered what the men’s teams are fighting for and proposed that the losing team at Survivor Series 2021 should participate in a Fatal 5 Way Elimination Match, fighting for spots 1-5 in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match that headlines the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 29.
The winning 5-man team would also participate in a Fatal 5 Way Elimination Match as they’d be fighting for spots 26-30 in the Rumble Match. The scenario is interesting but WWE hasn’t confirmed any such things regarding Survivor Series 2021.
