Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair tore the house at Summerslam during the opening bout of the PLE over the Raw Women’s Championship. After that epic battle, Belair retained her belt but fans were also concerned about her adversary working through most of the match, favoring her shoulder. It was eventually confirmed that she separated her shoulder during the matchup.
The next night on RAW, Becky Lynch confirmed her injury by sporting a sling in her arm. She was further attacked backstage by Bayley’s stable featuring Dakota Kai and Iyo SKY which was a way to write her off WWE programming, for the time being. Her injury is legit and the expectation is that she could be missing several months before coming back to action.
“Triple H Really Does Care About The Women’s Division,” Says WWE Raw Superstar
Given Becky Lynch’s energy, it’s highly unlikely that the multi-time champion is sitting idly at home. Despite being injured with a separated shoulder, The MAN is staying in shape. She posted a picture on social as proof that she is keeping herself ready for a future return by lifting weights at The Black & Brave Wrestling Academy run by her husband Seth Rollins.
Becky Lynch inspired by former WWE writer for her memoir
In a recent Instagram Live session featuring former WWE head writer Brian Gewirtz and WWE Legend The Rock, Becky Lynch revealed she’s planning to utilize her time away from the ring by penning down a memoir on her wrestling career.
As per the comments made by Big Time Becks, she’s been working on the autobiography and she has also been inspired after reading Gewirtz’s new book, “There’s Just One Problem” as it has provided her with inspiration to finish what she started.
“It’s such a great book,” Becky Lynch told Gewirtz about his new book. “You’ve done such an incredible job. I’m still writing mine and I’m really happy that when mine comes out, at least it won’t be in direct competition with yours. [Yours] is so well-written and hilarious.”
“When do you think you’ll be done with that?” The Rock chimed in with a question.
“Hopefully in the next couple of months,” the response came. “Now that I got a bad wing, I got a little bit more time to dedicate to it.”
There have been reports that Becky Lynch might have required surgery to fix the shoulder issues and it would definitely require significant time to get healed. A top superstar like her getting sidelined, allowed WWE to bring more heel heat on the attackers, namely Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky who are currently involved in a feud against Bianca Belair.
