WWE Raw is about to host another packed edition of the show tonight. Apart from a headliner segment featuring WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, two huge matches are now official to take place on the night. One of them will mark the much-anticipated debut of a brand new tag team whereas the other one will witness a masked Luchador returning to action. Corbin demands an apology from Roman Reigns
In the first confirmed matchup of WWE RAW, The Street Profits from NXT, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins will make their debut on the show. They will take on the OCs which appears to be the beginning of a new feud. It started with a backstage altercation from last week.
WWE removes Seth Rollins from Crown Jewel.
The OCs were out to welcome one of the newest tag teams on WWE Raw roster after the Draft. The verbal confrontation soon turned out to be a savage backstage assault, courtesy of the resident heels of the flagship show. AJ Styles and his OC brethren pounced on the former NXT tag team champions, out of nowhere to teach them a lesson. So they will be out for redemption on this week’s WWE RAW,
“The O.C. landed the first shot in a new turf war with The Street Profits. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins will have their chance to respond this Monday — and they’re bringing backup.
Now, The Street Profits are set to make their Raw in-ring debuts against the team of Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson with United States Champion AJ Styles, and The O.C. won’t be able to rely on the numbers game this time around with Ford & Dawkins being joined by a mystery friend.”
Apart from this debut, a high-flying superstar will make his return to in-ring competition. Sin Cara is coming back from an injury to compete against his fellow Mexican countryman, Andrade. This could be a solid matchup keeping in mind the series of blockbuster matches that Andrade produced with another masked Lucha sensation, Rey Mysterio. WWE.com confirmed the contest with the following statements,
“Some were surprised by USA Network’s selection of Andrade and Zelina Vega to close out the first round of the WWE Draft, but they provided immediate return on investment last week with an impressive win over Ali.
Sin Cara, who returns to the red brand after being drafted last week, will look to stifle the hot start to Andrade’s Raw tenure when they meet in one-on-one action.”
