In one of the biggest matches of her career, Britt Baker will collide in the ring against current-rival Saraya, this Wednesday night. Ahead of that pivotal tag team match, the face of the AEW Women’s Division touched a milestone and took to social media to celebrate.

Britt Baker issued a statement on Twitter

Over on Twitter, Britt Baker informed the fans of her milestone, that’s celebrating four years with All Elite Wrestling, and added that there is still work to be done. The dentist also reminded fans that she was the first woman to be signed to a contract with AEW,

“Has it really been 4 years today? Wow. We’ve come a long way, but there’s still work to be done. LFG. Love me or hate me, I’ll always be the first female signed to @AEW Yours truly, Dr. Britt Baker DMD.”

Britt Baker enjoyed a top run in All Elite Wrestling promotion

Signed as the first-ever female wrestler for the Tony Khan-owned wrestling promotion, Britt Baker Baker is indeed considered one of AEW’s “pillars” of the company with the likes of MJF, Adam Page, and Sammy Guevera. She made her in-ring debut at AEW’s inaugural event, Double Or Nothing 2019, where she defeated Awesome Kong, Kylie Rae, and Nyla Rose.

Britt is one of the four pillars in AEW

After becoming the first woman to sign with AEW, Britt Baker also become the first woman to win a match on AEW TV by winning this four-way bout. Then she suffered a legit concussion at AEW Fight for the Fallen that year to commence a feud between herself and Bea Priestly (now WWE‘s Blair Davenport) leading to a match on the AEW Full Gear pre-show in November.

Moving on, Britt Baker turned heel for the first time in her AEW career in January 2020. But she would suffer a leg injury that forced her to miss a better part of 2020. Her return at All Out wasn’t a memorable one after losing to Big Swole. However, she proved her potential to be in the elite league of wrestlers on March 17, 2021, at AEW Dynamite, where she lost to Thunder Rosa in the critically-acclaimed Lights Out match.

Britt Baker’s momentums took her to the ultimate goal of winning the AEW Women’s World Championship at Double or Nothing 2021 in May. Her AEW Women’s Title reign lasted for 290 days, from May 30, 2021, to March 16, 2022. In that reign, she defended the title against the likes of Riho, Ruby Soho, and Kris Statlander before dropping the belt to Thunder Rosa.
