Veteran CM Punk called Britt Baker one of the pillars of AEW in a promo session of November 2021. The “four pillars” of AEW were originally named by MJF as the group included Friedman himself alongside Jungle Boy, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevara.
As MJF’s feud with Punk continued, the latter stated that MJF had been replaced by Britt Baker as a pillar during one of his promos. The Women’s World Champion thanked Punk for his words but she always knew her values since joining the brand. Now, she also wants to contribute more to the women’s division and possibly take it further to the next level.

Britt Baker genuinely thinks that it’s time for the AEW women’s division to step forward and capture the main event spotlight. She talked to In The Kliq podcast about what’s next for that aspect of the company. The AEW Women’s World Champion believes that a pay-per-view headlining should be reserved next for them.

“The Women’s Division was under fire pretty aggressively at first, but just how quickly we’ve turned the tide, just like taking all that criticism and kind of threw it at everyone’s face. So, moving forward, I just want to keep building our women’s division. How cool would it be for a women’s match to be the main event of a pay-per-view sometime? Just to keep growing in that sense. To date, Britt Baker had already been part of some memorable moments in AEW. The lights-out match against Thunder Rosa changed a lot for the women’s division as the two women proved what they are capable of. Britt also received one of the biggest hometown pops in AEW history who is reportedly set for the rematch against Rosa at AEW Revolution. Only time will tell whether AEW creative wants it to become the headliner match of the PPV.
Britt Baker already enjoyed a strong reign as the AEW Women’s World Champion who was reportedly also set for a feud against legendary Lita who is one of the pioneers for the women in the pro wrestling world. For some reason, AEW failed to crack the deal but the dream feud could still go down in the near future.
