Previous reports already claimed that Brock Lesnar is probably getting booked for a mega match at SummerSlam 2021. The probable opponent for him could be the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in a dream match. Following last night’s successful title defense at Hell In A Cell by Lashley, the possibility of seeing this match has grown even bigger.
Reports also claim that Brock Lesnar’s WWE return is imminent as the company has been in recent talks with the former champion. According to Fightful, this could eventually lead to his return to the WWE, finally after a long hiatus,
“Brock Lesnar and WWE have been in recent talks about a return to the company. WWE was said to have plans in order for Brock Lesnar, and hopes that he could return imminently if they have their way.”
WWE Hinted Brock Lesnar’s Return On Raw?
As you can see, the report noted WWE has plans in place for the Superstar who still appears to be an active name of Raw. While his return could be imminent, there’s no word on when he’ll be on WWE TV though. Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast also provided a follow-up to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful by tweeting out a gif of Lesnar with the caption, “soon,” mentioning the potential comeback.

Brock Lesnar is still yet to re-sign with WWE
As reported earlier, Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract reportedly expired last August as the two sides couldn’t agree on new terms. At the same time, Lesnar’s merchandise was removed from WWE Shop since his imagery deal with the company had also expired. It was always expected that The Beast is slated to make a return to WWE but amid the COVID-19 pandemic, no specific information was available.
There have been some speculations of Brock Lesnar potentially making a comeback during Hell In A Cell 2021 PPV re-connecting with his manager Paul Heyman. But that didn’t obviously happen. The other client of Heyman, Universal Champion Roman Reigns already secured his big Hell in a Cell win over Rey Mysterio, this past Friday on SmackDown.
With SummerSlam nearly sold out, several reports claim that WWE is looking forward to putting up a WrestleMania-level PPV event and Brock Lesnar’s presence is certainly expected at the upcoming PPV. SummerSlam is set for Saturday, August 21 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lesnar vs. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is also being speculated for the PPV event.
