In the main event of the 2022 SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match to retain his championship. With that, the ongoing historic reign continued for the champion that has now touched the 700th-day landmark. However, it was a couple of tractor spots conducted by the challenger that stole the show.
Brock Lesnar brought a tractor into WWE SummerSlam 2022 to perform a mega stunt of moving the entire ring but if reports are to be believed then things didn’t quite go, according to plans. Without much rehearsal, the spot seemed to be okay-ish but not fully perfect.

According to the reports of PWInsider, Brock Lesnar pushing the ring towards the announce table and then lifting the ring with a tractor was “far rougher and harder than anyone had planned for.” It was clear on TV that The Beast Incarnate was having some problems in adjusting the tractor’s lifters under the ring. He was successful in doing so after a lot of effort.

Brock Lesnar wasn’t a part of the tractor stunts performed before SummerSlam 2022
The source noted that at least one rehearsal of the aforementioned spot was done where a member of the production team lifted the ring. But it didn’t seem like Brock Lesnar himself got any practice with the tractor. But he went ahead to perform the same in front of the audience due to his farming experience.
The tractor stunt did create the biggest spot of the night but it wasn’t enough for Brock Lesnar to defeat Roman Reigns in the main event match. He did send Reigns tumbling off the ring in a never-before-seen moment in WWE history. The sudden movement of the ring even scared the hell out of the WWE commentator Michael Cole who claimed to have not seen anything like it in his 25-year tenure.
The lifted ring acted perfectly to signify the ruckus created during the match. It was a perfect backdrop for the Last Man Standing Match between the two longtime rivals where Roman Reigns’ cousins, The Usos, and his long-term associate Paul Heyman got involved to help out the champion in retaining. Men’s Money In The Bank winner Theory also wanted to get involved but he was taken out by Lesnar via an F-5.
