Brock Lesnar allowed his WWE contract to expire and has become a free agent, recently. The Internet Wrestling Community has thus received a topic to discuss what his next destination could be. While UFC President Dana White has already shown interest to book him in future fights, there’re also some chances that he might end up in AEW.

The bottom-line is that Brock Lesnar is now available to negotiate field offers from other rival companies of WWE. AEW owner Tony Khan denied speaking about this issue during a recent interview.

Meanwhile, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that a source in WWE said that “it makes no sense” for WWE to sign Brock Lesnar to a deal right now. It would have to be a lucrative deal while they can’t use the biggest box office attraction on TV since there’s no audience on the shows. The only thing they could do is to keep him away from AEW.

The current belief is that the Beast Incarnate “probably would try to use AEW as leverage” while getting a better deal. At the end of the day, the amount he would ask for could be too much to afford for AEW and Vince McMahon would take advantage of it.

In the meantime, reports also claim that WWE might have thought of returning plans for Brock Lesnar. Drew McIntyre defeated him at WrestleMania 36 in front of zero fans inside the WWE Performance Center to win the WWE Championship. McIntyre, still the reigning champion has been carrying the title in an empty building without getting the fans to cheer him on.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE is currently considering Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar in a rematch at WrestleMania 37. This could have gone down at SummerSlam 2020 but Lesnar refused to work on that show. Things could change in the future as Randy Orton is a huge factor in the title picture.

The Viper could take the WWE Title away from McIntyre. That might set up Edge eventually returning and receive a big title match at the show of shows. But at this point, no WrestleMania plans are locked as the show itself doesn’t have a confirmed venue due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Brock Lesnar’s WWE deal was originally expired with the WrestleMania 36 match. The company was selling his merchandise for five months before taking it down from WWE Shop. This was the key thing that made everyone believe about Lesnar’s free agency.
