Carmella hasn’t been on WWE programming throughout the post-Wrestlemania season for lack of creative planning. She previously vented out frustrations about this and finally, the company decided to listen to her complaints.
Following her return to TV, last month, she was quickly introduced to the title picture. Carmella is currently gearing up for another major title match opportunity at WWE Money In The Bank 2022 as she will challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship against the champion Bianca Belair in a singles contest capacity.

Given that Carmella has been playing the role of a ‘heel with a pretty face’ and her opponent is a top babyface champion on Raw, many of the fans believe that this would be a clean sweep for the latter. So, ahead of that match, the challenger took to Twitter to remind the WWE Universe about some of her past accolades.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has pointed out how many ways WWE has used her, over the years. She’s apparently excelled in every booking decision that WWE had to offer toward her before getting into her current position.
“You can make me a manager, give me a guy without a chin, a dance break mid match, change my character, have me wear a mask, be a last minute replacement and I’m ALWAYS going to show up and show out,” Carmella wrote in her tweet. “I rise to every occasion and you can’t take that away from me.”

Carmella had quite a rollercoaster ride in her WWE career
Originally, Carmella debuted in NXT in 2014 where she used to be a wrestler and a manager for the tag team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass. But she got a solo call-up to the main roster and had become a focal member of the WWE women’s division.
Her initial fame came when she won the first-ever women’s Money In The Bank ladder match (in controversial fashion) and then the second one, just a couple of weeks later. The Carmella used that briefcase to defeat Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Later on, she also went on to become a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Zelina Vega.
Originally, The most beautiful woman in all of WWE wasn’t supposed to be a part of Money in the Bank. Rhea Ripley was set to challenge Belair for the title but Ripley’s absence due to an injury forced WWE to bring back Carmella on TV as the new challenger.
