WWE has lost a number of bright talents like Cathy Kelley in the past couple of years. They have releases several superstars from their roster amid the COVID-19 budget cuts while some of the talents themselves left once their deals with the company have expired. Kelley was amongst those names with her former colleague Renee Young and both of them belonged to the same genre of broadcasting on WWE TV.
While Renee used to be a regular name for WWE’s mainstay broadcast, Cathy Kelley became popular for her stint on NXT and her YouTube WWE NOW shticks. She was a pretty face who also possessed well work ethics to build a good rapport with the WWE officials. Unfortunately, she was unhappy with the WWE working scheduled that led to the departure.

It appears that she was spending some time with her closest ones in California as seen in photos from her Instagram. She dazzled in some bikini photos shared from Malibu and Santa Monica, California. One of the captions from the photos stated the following,

Cathy Kelley worked last at the WWE NXT “Takeover: Portland” as she publicly mentioned that it would be her last day with the company. She reportedly gave notice to the company that she wanted to leave, and WWE officials respected that decision, according to PWInsider. Before coming to the WWE, she worked for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood and Afterbuzz TV. Then WWE signed her to a contract in 2016.

Cathy Kelley’s return to WWE programming already happened, twice, afterward during the WWE NXT “Takeover: Stand and Deliver” Night One Watch Along episode for the Wrestlemania weekend. She then also appeared in a WWE’s The Bump episode along with Stephanie McMahon. The WWE head-honcho also asked her about a comeback to the company, teasing a potential return but nothing positive had happened in this regard.
