During the fall of 2022, Cathy Kelley made her return to WWE as part of the changes made to the broadcasting team. Alongside the likes of Byron Saxton, she became a part of the WWE Raw interview team and WWE Universe couldn’t be happier to get her back on board. For those who don’t know, the former NXT on-screen talent left WWE previously to pursue other ambitions.
Now that she’s back in the WWE, Cathy Kelley admitted on The Big Thing podcast about having some goals in or outside the WWE to be fulfilled,
“There are so many things that I want to accomplish within WWE and there are so many things that I want to accomplish outside of WWE creatively. One of the things that I love is that I get to work with my friends, and so coming up with other creative ventures with them I think is always something that I want to continue doing.”

Since signing with the WWE, almost seven years ago, she always wanted to feature on top shows like Raw and Smackdown. Now that she’s a part of the main roster, she wants to achieve her own goal of having a Wrestlemania moment. She also wants to focus on settling down into the role offered to her and getting used to the hectic schedule that WWE usually offers,
“I really want to do more stuff on PLE’s and on WrestleMania, have a little backstage interview WrestleMania moment would be great,” she said. “Last time I was at WWE I created several shows, so I created Talking Smack and The Bump, which I worked on for years to have that come to fruition. So, to create more shows with them I think would be really fun.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
WWE Raw: Cathy Kelley Reveals A Text To Triple H Caused Her 2022 Return
Triple H has always been Cathy Kelley’s boss in WWE
Speaking in the interview, Cathy Kelley stated that it was an easy decision for her to return to the WWE with Triple H and Stephanie in charge due to the impression they had of her during her first run. Previously, she mostly worked for the NXT brand and hence her actual day-to-day activities don’t feel much different since Triple H was also her boss in NXT.
It was in 2016 that Cathy Kelley joined WWE for her first spell, primarily to serve as an interviewer on the NXT brand. In February 2020, after years of being a regular face on NXT, the WWE Network program WWE Now, and Sam Roberts’ Sirius XM radio show about WWE, she parted ways with the company. She resigned from her position to try out new creative endeavors.
