Andrade El Idolo and Charlotte Flair got together during their time in the WWE. They had been dating since 2019 and were very much public about the affair. Afterward, they announced to be engaged to be married at the beginning of 2020. Rumors claimed that there was some turbulence in their relationship but ultimately they invested time in themselves and managed to stay together no matter what.
Back in the summer of 2022, Charlotte Flair got married which led her to go into the longest hiatus of her WWE career. Now, she has expressed the desire to manage him one day if the opportunities are right.
While speaking with Daily Mail UK’s Alex McCarthy, Charlotte Flair talked about coming on TV with her husband or someday managing her husband or competing in a mixed tag team match with him. She made it clear that the interest is for real and that it should happen one day.

“One day I think I will be able to get to switch it up. I’d love to be beside my husband managing him, or mixed tag. I think when the time is right, I will get to switch it up, but I think again having such a serious role and where my career has gone, I don’t know if I could change it because I’ve had such an incredible one,” Charlotte Flair stated.
“If anything I wish I knew then what I knew now. I wish I could go back and re-do so many matches and storylines because I have so much depth in knowledge now that I didn’t have because I started so late in the game, but now I’ll have that down the road when maybe I do get to manage my husband.”
Andrade El Idolo was a WWE Superstar who worked in WWE from 2015 to 2021 and delivered excellent matches, carrying on the legacy of lucha libre wrestling. His best tenure came during his time in NXT under Triple H’s supervision. After being underutilized on the main roster, he then made his way to AEW afterward and be a part of the heel faction. Despite a lengthy absence, she remains an under-contract talent for a long period of time.
As for Charlotte Flair, she remains one of the biggest stars in WWE right now. She never got to work in a program with her husband despite the rumors when he was still in WWE. After Andrade made his exit from the WWE, fans started wondering if they would ever work in the same company, again. We’ll have to wait and see to get the answer but given Flair’s top status in the WWE, she’s likely to stay for years to follow.
