Deonna Purrazzo has been a solid champion in IMPACT

In the past, Deonna Purrazzo won the Impact Knockouts Championships on a couple of occasions and enjoyed dominant runs with it to cement her legacy in pro wrestling. She would eventually drop the title to Mickie James. She would also go on to win the ROH Women’s Championship, but she lost it to Mercedes Martinez.

While speaking on Refin’ It Up, Deonna Purrazzo revealed how there were plans to have her lose the Impact Knockouts title to Thunder Rosa of AEW but those plans had never come to fruition,

“There was supposed to be one other time, right before Slammiversary 2021 where I ended up wrestling Thunder Rosa, that I was maybe going to lose, but I was doing stuff with AAA and whether it was a miscommunication or what it was, my AAA match for Triplemania became a title vs. title match and then I couldn’t lose because I had said I would put the title on the line.”
