In what was considered to be the best match of WWE Summerslam 2021 night, Edge was able to humble Seth Rollins. The Hall of Famer came out to his Brood theme song and Fire entrance in a nostalgia act for many who then went on to defeat Rollins in a match that was almost 7 years in the making. The contest witnessed a submission finish as Rollins tapped out to the Crossface Sleeper submission.
Following this match, WWE Shop is now listing Edge as a RAW Superstar in certain sections of their website. This might be an indication that the legendary superstar is switching from SmackDown to RAW in the near future. As of now, he is still listed as a blue brand roster member but being a Hall of Famer, he is different from the regular roster members who could shift his position, as per demand.
Brock Lesnar’s Return; Summerslam 2021 Rematch Announced For WWE Super Smackdown

Back at the beginning of this year, Edge was made appearances on Raw who also defeated Randy Orton in a singles contest, the night after Royal Rumble. But then he opted to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 37 which automatically switched him onto Smackdown in the leading weeks. In the near future, WWE Draft is coming up and it’s possible that he could be drafted to the red brand.
Edge vs Seth Rollins feud to continue
Time will tell how this storyline will play out as we have to keep updated with it. Meanwhile, Edge opened up in a backstage interview about his SummerSlam win over Seth Rollins. He brought back that ‘Brood’ side of himself who also gave Rollins a ‘Brood Bath’, a night before the PPV event.
“Seth lit something inside of me, and pushed me into a really, really dark place,” Edge stated on bringing back the dark side inside him. “It’s not fun to go there because as it’s hard to come out of there. But I knew I needed to, because I would give Seth all the credit in the world in terms of his ability, and what he can do in the ring. He’s almost unmatched, and I knew that going in. I knew that if he hit the Stomp, it was trouble for me and possibly the end of my career.”
