Toni Storm was introduced to the Smackdown roster back in last year’s July only to be taken away from TV just a couple of weeks later. She returned to WWE television back in November and fans wanted to get her involved in the Smackdown Women’s Title picture, right away. Their demand was met without much delay as she began feuding with Charlotte Flair on Friday Night Smackdown.
But that rivalry eventually marked the downfall for Toni Storm on Smackdown. That program didn’t go anywhere and led to the departure of the talented superstar. WWE never had big plans for the former NXT UK Champion and she was bored anyway after sitting at the catering, week after week.
Ex WWE Smackdown Star Toni Storm Leaves Fans Speechless With New Look
Now, Toni Storm has changed up her looks, big-time and as seen in the recent posts on her social media accounts, she is teasing some “exclusive content” for her fans coming soon.
An image was included in the post where the former WWE Superstar was sporting only a leather jacket to give us a glimpse of what’s coming in the near future. It appears that she might drop a lot of photos in innerwear just like some of her female colleagues from the pro-wrestling industry.
Toni Storm booked for her first post-WWE appearance
Not much information was offered by Toni Storm but she did provide a link on her profile page for potential bookings. Her first post-WWE appearance will take place WrestleCon in Dallas, Texas during the WrestleMania 38 weekend where she joins Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda), Kurt Angle, Paul Wight, and several other top stars who would be appearing for the convention.
As noted above, Toni Storm was involved in a title match feud with SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at the time of her exit from the WWE. Flair retained her SmackDown Women’s Title during the Christmas Eve edition of SmackDown by pinning Storm.
The challenger then worked live events in Orlando and Washington, competing in Triple Threat title matches with Flair and Sasha Banks. These two house shows marked her final WWE appearances.
In general, WWE puts the released superstars under a no-compete clause. Going by that, Toni Storm wouldn’t be able to actually compete in a ring until Tuesday, March 29.
