In fact, the amount is expected to be so big that WWE and Goldberg both were aware that they would be working for Crown Jewel. The legendary superstar has a lucrative deal with WWE for Saudi Arabia matches, and hence there was no way he will allow WWE to reschedule his match on RAW to pull up the ratings,
“The other match that is going to be there is Lashley and Bill Goldberg, because that one won’t be put on TV, because Goldberg does have a specific deal with the Saudi shows that is very lucrative and if you were gonna pull his match to put it on TV he wouldn’t be happy at all. That’s millions of dollars of difference.”
The Undertaker Is In Saudi Arabia Ahead Of WWE Crown Jewel 2021
Goldberg has already wrestled two matches at Saudi Arabia PPVs so far. He lost to The Undertaker in the first one at Super ShowDown 2019 but then defeated “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to win the Universal Championship in the second one at Super ShowDown 2020. His 3rd bout at a Saudi PPV will be at this month’s Crown Jewel 2021 against Bobby Lashley in a SummerSlam rematch.
Brock Lesnar is the most regular WWE Superstar who has worked in all the Saudi PPVs so far and reportedly received about $1.5 million for a single appearance. We assume Goldberg receives around $1 million for his singles matches in Saudi shows. Currently, he is obliged to perform one more year with the WWE under his current contract.
