Goldberg is one of the major attractions on WWE television who gets called up whenever a bigger occasion arrives for the company. He wrestled earlier this year in a dream match after which his wrestling career is in question given his growing age. The 55-year-old superstar was also reportedly set to undergo surgery which could also be the reason for his current absence.
Two months from now, Goldberg would be standing in front of a historic moment in his professional wrestling career which also falls in line with WWE TV taping. This instigates the chances of seeing his career to be celebrated given how the company loves to throw celebrations on such occasions.

Back on September 22, 1997, in Salt Lake City, Goldberg made his TV debut through WCW. Incidentally, WWE will be in the same town nearly 25 years to the date, this year. A WWE Smackdown taping is scheduled for Salt Lake City in Utah on September 23 ahead of the annual Extreme Rules premium live event.
As noted above, it was in this same city that Goldberg’s first-ever match happened as he defeated Hugh Morrus (real name Bill DeMott) on an episode of WCW Nitro. The rest is history as the superstars billed from Georgia went on to achieve the most memorable wrestling careers that one could have expected. He is a multi-time world champion who also once possesses an undefeated streak.

Goldberg possibly be getting a celebration in the WWE
It’s currently unknown whether WWE has any plans to celebrate the occasion, possibly as the 25th anniversary of the legendary Goldberg. Earlier this year, John Cena and Randy Orton were recognized by the WWE for their 20-year careers with the company. The entire month of June, was dedicated to Cena he himself was in attendance on the June 27 episode of Raw.
Goldberg last wrestled in the WWE back in late February when he challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber. The dream match went down in Saudi Arabia, where Reigns won the match via the guillotine submission hold.
Afterward, reports also claimed that the legendary superstar’s WWE contract would be coming to an end. There’s no confirmed update on his physical condition and whether he intends to be back in the WWE fold.
