Every week, Maxxine Dupri is making an on-screen splash with lovey-dovey moves with her on-screen flame, Otis. After disbanding herself with Mace and Monsoor, this has been a refreshing experience for the newbie where she got to be over with the WWE fans after a lackluster run. Now it’s time for her to step up the game and offer something in the wrestling capacity.
There have been long speculations over whether WWE intends to use Maxxine Dupri in a wrestling capacity or whether it’s an injury that is holding her back. The Raw Superstar herself confirmed that she is now cleared to compete again as a professional wrestler which keeps the door open for her to possibly make her in-ring debut in WWE.

“I am training in-ring, everything is good, we are healthy,” Maxxine Dupri revealed during an interview on the Out Of Character podcast with Ryan Satin. “I am trying to live in the moment, so I am so happy and content with my character and storylines, I am having so much fun. I obviously would love to get a little physicality going, but I also just want to really take in every single moment, as I feel like I’m never going to get this time back.”

Maxxine Dupri gathering experience before making WWE in-ring debut
As noted above, Maxxine Dupri has become a regular feature on WWE Raw. Following her shift to the red brand after Draft 2023, she was put into the Alpha Academy faction alongside Otis and Chad Gable to make the group even more popular. But she is yet to have any matches on the main roster.
While Maxxine Dupri admittedly enjoying her current run on Raw, she is also training at WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida with Norman Smiley, as revealed during the conversation,
“I love Norman, he is just such a special human, I love being in his class he has such a positive delivery and he’s obviously so talented and knows so much. I am always learning something new, which I love.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
Moving on in the conversation, Maxxine Dupri also revealed that she had the chance to get familiar with Dana Brooke and Nikki Cross at the venues. Getting acquainted with these two veterans gave her more knowledge as she preps prepare for a potential in-ring career in the red brand women’s division.
