Chelsea Green has never been in a better position in her career than the past few months she had spent in the WWE. She’s not only a tag team champion but also the one who showed efforts to essentially indicate that the title mean something to her as well as the company. Now, she has some bigger goals in mind given that the first big-four event of the WWE is coming to her city.
WWE recently announced Royal Rumble 2024 to be hosted from their former ThunderDome base at Tampa Bay’s Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, and with this, a lot of excitement has arisen among the WWE fanbase. With WWE coming back to their home territory in Florida, a great start is expected on the Road to Wrestlemania 40, and Chelsea Green is all pumped up about the experience.

The one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion recently spoke with SEScoops about her partnership with Piper Niven, NXT stars who impressed her, Nia Jax’s return to WWE, and most importantly the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble which emanates from her home state of Florida and with that being said, she plans on having a very special moment on the show.
Chelsea Green eyeing a full circle moment at Royal Rumble
Speaking with the outlet, Chelsea Green noted that she will be having a full circle moment at The Rumble as she returned to the WWE at last year’s same PLE and managed to leave her mark. This year, she plans on doing something great by winning the Women’s Rumble and thereby becoming a dual champion when she also wins a Women’s Title at Wrestlemania.
“I’m in Orlando, but it’s pretty close. We’ll call it my hometown. Not only is it in my hometown, but this is also a very full-circle moment for me. I plan on winning the 2024 Royal Rumble, and when I do, of course, I’m not only going to be a tag team champion, but I will go on to become a WWE women’s champion. I mean, the world is my oyster right now,” Chelsea Green said.

It was reminded during the interview that her recent return to WWE which began at the 2023 Royal Rumble, Chelsea Green achieved a new record where she had the fastest elimination in the Women’s Royal Rumble history, courtesy of the winner Rhea Ripley. While getting asked if there’s a second record she’s hoping to get in the next, the former Hot Mess had the following to offer,
