The face of the Impact Knockouts Division, Deonna Purrazzo lost her title at the latest bygone PPV event of the Impact Wrestling promotion. But she’s not waiting longer to get back that title. As confirmed on a recent Impact TV taping, her guaranteed title rematch will rather be happening within just four weeks.
During the latest episode of Impact on AXS TV, Deonna Purrazzo came out to the ring after Trinity and Dani Luna defeated The Coven (Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King) in a tag team match and she told Trinity that she was going to get her rematch at the Impact Emergence event on August 27. The match has since been promoted for the upcoming show set for later this month.

Deonna Purrazzo lost Knockouts Title at Slammiversary
Back in mid-April, Impact Wrestling held its Rebellion pay-per-view and in the main event of the same, former Knockouts World Champions Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace battled it out for the vacant championship belt. Then it was the former WWE NXT Superstar who would walk away with the win to become a three-time champion with the same title.
Then in the penultimate match of the 2023 Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view, Trinity captured her first IMPACT Knockouts title from fellow WWE alumni Deonna Purrazzo. The win was pretty significant since she forced the former champion to tap out to a unique submission hold.
With that the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion ended Deonna Purrazzo’s third reign as the Knockouts Champion, which lasted for 90 days, starting from Rebellion. Trinity, on the other hand, captured her first championship since May 2022, when she held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Besides, she only debuted on Impact in May and had her first PPV match at Slammiversary, itself.
Deonna Purrazzo has previously expressed her wish of surpassing Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim’s combined reign of 711 days as Knockouts World Champion, and winning back the gold will be a huge step in achieving that goal. As of now, she had held the title for 531 days across her three reigns.
