WWE stocks rose after Vince McMahon return
WWE stock increased by 22% due to this news but WWE employees are since scared about the fear that they will have to work with The Boss from now onward. In such a circumstance, Stephanie McMahon assured WWE employees, last night that Vince McMahon returning to the organization as a Board member was not a cause for concern.
Stephanie McMahon mentioned that WWE could be up for sale
PWInsider revealed a meeting held in the WWE HQ as a rah-rah one where Stephanie McMahon specifically told the employees that her father’s return is due to the fact that WWE wants to be sold out and which could result in good times for the existing WWE talents.
“So again thank you to all of you,” Stephanie McMahon said to conclude the brief meeting. “This is an exciting time. It shouldn’t be a scary time. It’s an exciting time for WWE. Our founder is back on the board and is going to help lead this process [of a potential sale].”
Vince’s return wouldn’t affect WWE daily operations
Also, Co-Ceo Nick Khan reassured employees that Vince’s sudden return to the Board was not going to disrupt WWE’s day-to-day operations. The key people in the company would continue to do their jobs – Stephanie McMahon as Chairwoman & Co-Ceo, Khan as Co-Ceo, Frank Riddick as CFO, Paul “Triple H” Levesque as Chief Content Officer and Kevin Dunn as EVP of Television & Live Events,
“In terms of the day-to-day of the company, nothing is changing, Khan said. “Steph is in her role, I’m in my role, Frank’s [Riddick] in his role, Paul [Levesque] is in his role, Kevin Dunn is in his role.” (quotes courtesy Wrestlenomics)
