The current WWE Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy isn’t leaving WWE anytime soon despite her brother joining the rival brand. It’s reported that the veteran WWE Superstar has recently signed a new contract with the company. Although not confirmed, it’s likely that the deal will last for at least a couple of years.

BT Sport has recently released a clip from their interview with Jeff Hardy, where he revealed the information of the recent signing. WWE hasn’t announced the same with any official statement despite this man being a top superstar of the company. But it’s good news for them in a tumultuous time where superstars are thinking twice before re-signing.

Jeff Hardy also confirmed that his “No More Words” theme entrance music will be back on WWE TV once the fans will be able to attend the shows. This is something that Jeff’s wife Beth Hardy has also revealed on Twitter, earlier this summer.

Hardy mentioned how the return of this fan-favorite theme song was a part of the new contract he signed with the WWE,

“‘No More Words,’ when we do get in front of a crowd again, that was a part of me re-signing,” he said. “I was like, ‘If we get in front of people again, I’d like to use ‘No More Words’ again because I know y’all own it.”

“So, that was the deal for me re-signing, that’s gonna be the ticket when we get back in front of crowds. That’s gonna boost me even more… to hear that music again, because I think The Hardy Boyz music is just for Matt and Jeff Hardy, not just Jeff Hardy.”

At present, Jeff Hardy is the Intercontinental Champion who is feuding with AJ Styles and Sami Zayn over the title. It’s a no-brainer that he will eventually defend his title in a Triple Threat at WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view on September 27. This is one particular night of the year where each of WWE’s titles remains on the line.

It should be noted that Jeff Hardy had a monumental return to WWE after a hiatus of several years in the year 2017. He signed a two-year contract back then which was later extended due to months of his career getting wasted, caused by injuries. The high-flyer will keep going in the WWE for some more time before calling it a quit.
