Lana used to be one of the best aspects of tuning into WWE TV for the fans for about eight long years. She went through character alterations over the years to keep the fans vested in her. Coming off the movie industry, she managed to establish herself as a wrestler with the hope of becoming a champion but her career abruptly ended after WWE released her due to her lucrative contract.

Since WWE’s let-go, Lana has certainly kept herself busy with projects outside of wrestling. She has been entertaining fans with adultery content. through her brand army page. Plus, the Surreal Life Reboot had her onboard as a strong character. Besides, she has also been part of a couple of movie projects.

But being a former WWE Superstar, she certainly hopes to hold that status, yet again, presumably with her husband Rusev now going by the name of Miro in AEW. With all the recent returns happening on WWE TV in recent times, the belief is that the Triple H-led regime will bring back formerly underutilized talents and Rusev also falls in that category.

Lana believes no one really leaves the WWE forever

During a recent appearance on The Mike Wennmacher Show, Lana stated that the infamous “Rusev Day” chants directed at her husband will never die. Rather, those should be reincarnated because she believes that no one is ever truly gone from the WWE,

“Rusev Day will never die. It’s always going to be around, the kids are gonna wanna sing it, and I’m sure it will make a return in WWE at some point. You know, Rusev will, whenever he shows back in and whatever freakin’ name or gimmick or character at some point in WWE, it’s going to be iconic… Let’s be honest, we know that everyone always returns back to WWE at some point.”

The Rusev Day gimmick literally took over the WWE Universe in late 2018s and it eventually turned the bonafide heel Rusev into a babyface, organically. Due to her on-screen alliance with Rusev, his wife also started getting Lana Day chants. WWE prematurely scrapped the gimmick since Vince McMahon didn’t like it and shortly after that, Rusev lost all his momentum and was released from the company.

Under the name of Miro, Rusev will go on to debut for AEW in 2020. Fans never imagined that Rusev Day still has the chance to get rekindled on WWE TV. But after Lana’s comments, it appears that the “never say never” phrase of the pro-wrestling community is applicable to this instance, as well.
