WWE hasn’t had the opportunity to conduct a Hall of Fame ceremony last year. They have announced a loaded lineup to get inducted into the prestigious club but then the coronavirus affected the world like never before. In the meantime, they have learned a thing or two about producing an event during these tough pandemic times.
Now, apparently, the officials will be utilizing a similar strategy to produce the next Hall of Fame ceremony in 2021. Metro.co.UK recently spoke to Davey Boy Smith, Jr about his father’s induction into the most prestigious club present in the world of sports entertainment. His induction was postponed last year, but it is likely happening in 2021.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2021: No Title Change Expected At The PPV
As expected due to the prevailing challenges thrown by the current pandemic restrictions, WWE will not have a live crowd for the Hall of Fame like they usually had in the past years. Smith Jr revealed that the event will have a ThunderDome feel attached to it. He already had some ideas for his speech to induct his father and that’s it for the show, though without an audience in attendance.
“I’ve been starting to pinpoint things. I’m gonna have to base that on how much time they’re going to allow me. My sister and my mother will be with me on the podium, and how much we’re gonna have to divide that between the three of us – and who’s going to do the induction for him.”

“I’m not sure what or who that might be at this point because of the COVID restrictions. I think it will just be me inducting Davey, as far as I know. I don’t think that they’re doing an audience, just with the fans from the Network on the screens.”
WWE Hall of Fame 2021 potential likeup
The 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class was never officially inducted despite the announcements and hypes. That class had the names like “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, The Bella Twins, JBL, Batista, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, and the nWo members consisting of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman.
Perhaps, that same class would be inducted into the Hall of Fame if no new inductees to be mentioned in the future. So they could simply be known as the inducted 2021 inductees, instead. The company has made no official announcement about a 2021 edition, yet but that is coming up, really soon.
