Along with Trish Stratus, she made everyone believe that the women wrestlers were definitely worthy of more than just showing off on screen. Being one of the pioneers of women’s wrestling in the pro wrestling world, fans did want to see her back in action and that’s happening just after a few days.
Lita made her return to in-ring action for WWE at this year’s Royal Rumble PPV event by competing in the 30-woman Rumble match. The Hall of Famer then soon discovered that she would be making a return for a feud with Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. This generation vs. generation dream match has the WWE Universe buzzing and it’s going to finally happen at Elimination Chamber 2022.

On her way to the bout set from the Saudi Arabian soil, Lita could be spotted going through some heavy workout sessions. WWE shared a video of the legendary wrestler preparing for the match on Twitter as well as on YouTube to reflect on her hard work as she prepares for Big Time Becks. She indeed needs to be on top of her game to dethrone the reigning champion.
As noted, Lita returned to be part of the Royal Rumble match to get a shot to be the headliner of Wrestlemania 38. One way or the other, she’s getting back that chance as she would duke it out with the top Raw Superstar.
But that wasn’t the case when her in-ring return was announced. Lita noted during an interview with Ring The Belle that it was fan support that gave her the confidence,
“I will tell you, I was apprehensive when the WWE revealed they were going to announce the people in the Royal Rumble prior. But honestly, everyone’s reaction gave me that much more confidence. So please be loud like everywhere. Be loud online, bother me, bombard me. Because each comment, it gives me a tiny bit more confidence to know that I can go out there and do this.”
