Liv Morgan is one of the charismatic superstars in the current female roster of the WWE. She may haven’t found the success that she expected when Paul Heyman was the Raw executive director in the WWE but that you never know when some opportunities would arrive in the company. Back at one point, she was famous for her blue tongue gimmick which made her a unique character on the roster. It has an interesting back-story behind and it was recently revealed.

WWE Network has provided Liv Morgan with her own Chronicle special and for that, she is very fortunate. During the episode, she was seen featuring in a preview video that explained how her blue tongue came about.

As per Liv Morgan’s comments, her blue tongue was an accident. She said that the Riott Squad was about to appear on television on Raw when Ruby Riott inserted a Tic Tac in her mouth. Morgan also ate a Jolly Rancher which was a blue one that converted her tongue, blue and Ruby Riott’s, to orange. Ruby got “talked to” about this orange tongue, while nobody did notice the tongue.

Liv Morgan wanted to see how far she could stretch this blue tongue though, and it eventually became her pendant thing in WWE. One sudden incident was turned into special as she mentioned the entire incident as “something magical that happened by accident.”

Moving on from that tenure, Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott re-formed the Riott Squad who now want to succeed more after being a part of the Smackdown brand. The third wheel of the squad, Sarah Logan was released from the WWE, and she is now expecting a baby with her husband Erik of the Viking Raiders. Logan seemed very happy for her Riott Squad sisters who are now reunited.

Apparently, Liv Morgan is very happy that she got the second chance with Riott to do something special in the future, possibly capturing the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

While talking to WWE The Bump, the New Jersey resident opened up about having a second chance that the Riott Squad received from WWE. She said that they didn’t accomplish their wishes, the first time around. Now they have the opportunity to re-write history as she looks forward to it.

“I didn’t see myself as a tag team partner, and these girls had like a history together, they’ve been best friends for ten years. So I was very happy, but I was a little bit, not hesitant, I just, you know, didn’t know them that well. And then right away, we realized we have so much in common.

Physically we couldn’t look any [more] different from each other, but we have so much in common that it became such a sisterhood. We’re so focused because we know, the first time around, we didn’t do all that we think needed to be done. And now we have this rare opportunity to kind of rewrite history and to now do everything that we wish we had done.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestlezone)
