Since the December release, Mandy Rose has started glittering even more on social media and her premium content service platform. This led the fans to speculate as to why WWE would even think of letting such a popular superstar go from the brand without any prior notice. To even further shocker, they’ve tried to call it a truce and possibly keep the comeback door open.
Mandy Rose’s WWE release came just one day after she dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez, the winner of the 2022 Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge from NXT Deadline. Originally, the title match was scheduled to happen at New Year’s Evil or Vengeance Day PLE. But it was preponed due to the fact that wanted to take the title away from the former champion.
“It Could Have Been Different,” Mandy Rose On Still Hoping To Be A WWE Star
While it’s been a shocking decision by the WWE, Mandy Rose felt that something was going on just before her release. Speaking on The Sessions hosted by Renee Paquette, she said that it was after arriving at the NXT taping for the December 13 episode that she was informed of the title change and that was when she first suspected that her tenure in the WWE was up,
“[I was] completely surprised with everything. I went to work like a normal Tuesday for TV and I was told that the title match that was supposed to happen down the line [was happening.] At Vengeance Day, was when it was supposed to maybe happen, but that was all up.”

Mandy Rose didn’t receive heads-up about the title change
Mandy Rose further proceeded in the conversation by mentioning that she always shared a great rapport with NXT head Shawn Michaels, the writers, and the producers of the show. Being a top star of the NXT brand, the officials always gave her a heads-up about upcoming happening except this title change raised an inclination in her.
“Being champion for 413 days, I was in the loop for everything. I didn’t really have that many surprises. So [arriving that day] was very like ‘whoa did I do something? What’s going on?” Obviously, I had some inclination because of what was going on social media.’
Right away, I had the inclination that something was up.”
Just before the title change on NXT, social media went viral with some of the NSFW content shared by Mandy Rose on her FanTime paywall and it was too non-PG for the WWE. While the company never opened up about its problems, reports informed that via those pictures, the former Toxic Attraction leader crossed wellness policies that ultimately led to the release.
