For the first time ever, one of the Big-Five events under the WWE banner, Money in the Bank 2023 is heading overseas, promising a spectacular live entertaining show from the United Kingdom. Fans of that region can now be happy after hearing the news that WWE’s top marquee attraction has been booked for that night.

Remaining absent from WWE programming since the night after Wrestlemania 39, there have been uncertainties regarding Roman Reigns’ status for the coming weeks. However, Paul Heyman promised that the champion will be there on tonight’s Smackdown. Plus, he’s now been confirmed for two more upcoming WWE premium live events.

WWE’s official website is now advertising the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the Money in the Bank 2023 premium live event set to emanate from the O2 Arena in London, England on Saturday, July 1. However, Reigns is yet to be listed to appear for the SmackDown before Money in the Bank, which will also emanate from the O2 arena.

Interestingly, top WWE Superstars like Charlotte Flair and Drew McIntyre are no longer featured on the shortlist of advertised superstars for Money in the Bank 2023. This certainly indicates that there is possibly no return timeline set for these two names. Then again, both of them were included in the WWE Draft 2023. Flair was retained on Smackdown while McIntyre was sent to the Raw brand.

Also, at Money in the Bank 2023, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, and Seth Rollins are currently being advertised for Money in the Bank 2023. It should be noted that the card is always subject to change for any WWE events depending on the latest scenario and any superstar’s unavailability.

Roman Reigns last competed at WrestleMania 39 where he defeated Cody Rhodes to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Since then, he appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania 39. Now, he’s set to return on Smackdown.

Apart from being booked at Money in the Bank 2023, he’s also being advertised for Night of Champions 2023 in Saudi Arabia, later this month. Then a month later following MITB, Summerslam 2023 will go down from the Detroit Field on August 5 and he should perform on that night given it’s the biggest event of the summer also meaning that he will appear in three consecutive WWE PLEs.
