One of the big-five premium live events of the WWE calendar, Money in the Bank 2023 is going international, later this year. WWE will hold this in London’s O2 Arena on July 1 which will also serve as the final stop before they start building for the biggest event of the summer in Detroit, Michigan.

Although nothing has officially been booked for Money in the Bank 2023, it seems that there is already a front-runner to win the Men’s division MITB briefcase, this year. WRKD Wrestling reports that Smackdown roster member, LA Knight is being discussed as a top candidate to win the 2023 iteration of the annual ladder match and the contract for a future world title match,

“LA Knight has been discussed internally as a leading candidate to win this year’s Money In The Bank match.”

WWE is set to present Money in the Bank 2023 in a big way since this one is going to be an international event. The Daily Mail’s Alex McCarthy previously reported that the premium live event’s general sale tickets were sold out within a minute. At one point, more than 30,000 fans were in the queue on Ticketmaster, trying to secure their seats for the PLE.

WWE made the announcement prior to Wrestlemania 39 that Money in the Bank 2023 would be held in the United Kingdom for the first time ever and since then craze among the fans around the show is huge. We will have to wait until early June before the builds for the PLE finally begins.
