Multiple matches for Clash of Champions were about to become official on this week’s Smackdown that did not appear to be so. WWE only confirmed the title match between Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton over the prime title for the upcoming PPV event. But the way the storylines are setting up to be, we’re almost sure to get a couple of more title matches added to the card in due course over the mid-card championships, as per reports of

Huge Universal And Tag Team Titles Match Announced For Clash Of Champions

Will The Undertaker Be Part Of Clash Of Champions PPV?

The Miz vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura should be the first one in the confirmation list for the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view, soon. As seen on the show, the commentators reminded us about the beatdown of Nakamura and Zayn over The Miz from last week. This led us to a singles contest on Smackdown between Zayn and The Miz that never happened.

The Miz called out Shinsuke Nakamura for an Intercontinental Title match at Clash of Champions. The heel Zayn cut a promo calling The Miz the King of Soft Styles who’s a no matchup to Shinsuke Nakamura, King of Strong Styles. This distracted Miz as Nakamura pounced on him from the back and landed a Kinshasa. Zayn caught Miz helping Nakamura to hit the Kinshasa again hinting these two will be opponents at Clash of Champions for the Intercontinental title.

Another match should become official between The Revival and Smackdown Tag Team Champions Big E and Xavier Woods for the Clash pay-per-view, as these two teams are in the middle of a rivalry. Last night, Dash and Dawson ran down to the ring to distract Big E during his match against Randy Orton forcing him to digest an RKO. The bad blood between the two teams is growing where Revival also has a win over the tag champs. So it’s just a matter of time that WWE announces the next tag team title match.
