Maria Kanellis Bennett has been in the world of professional wrestling for almost two decades now and she does know how the “never say never” situation applies to this industry. For years, we haven’t seen the bombshell WWE Diva in action but that doesn’t really mean one last in-ring stint could be wiped out.
The Former WWE and IMPACT Wrestling star Maria Kanellis-Bennett has hinted at a possible return to in-ring action during a conversation on the AEW Unrestricted Podcast. Sharing her experience in wrestling, she admitted to being done dancing in the ring after going through two pregnancies in her life. However, she still could be having some second thoughts.

As per the confession made by Maria Kanellis, her children have shown interest in seeing her wrestle and it might eventually drag her back to the squared circle. Here’s more of what she had to offer,
“[My daughter] wants me to wrestle, so does my son. You get those pulls, they didn’t see that part of my life, but they want to and they’re interested. So, it’s almost like you have to kinda re-do it a little bit so they can see it.
I don’t know. I truly felt like I was done, my last match I had was at WrestleMania 35, it was after I had my daughter and right before I got pregnant with my son. When I walked out, I was like ‘I don’t think this is for me anymore. I don’t think the wrestling part is for me anymore.”

For those who don’t know, Maria Kanellis last competed in a match in 2019. It was a Mixed Tag Match alongside her husband Mike Bennett on WWE Raw but she barely got physical in that match. Interestingly, it was on that same match that she announced her second pregnancy. It was during that pregnancy storyline that she ended up winning the 24/7 Championship that made her the only pregnant champion in WWE history.
Before that, Maria Kanellis primarily served as a manager for her husband Mike Bennett in Ring of Honor, IMPACT Wrestling, and All Elite Wrestling. The last time she did actually compete in a match was during the Evolution Battle Royal and then during the next Royal Rumble match in the WWE.
