The newly paired duo of Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne has quickly received a title match opportunity at NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night Two as announced during this week’s episode of NXT. The two have been thinking of picking up momentums and they now have secured the golden opportunity to become new champions on the NXT roster starting from next week.
During this week’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night One episode, Jayne and Hail featured in a backstage confrontation with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. The two teams shared verbal antics before the champions were challenged to a match.
Later in the show, it was made official by the WWE that Niven and Green would face off against Hail and Jayne for the tag titles on next week’s episode of WWE NXT, otherwise known as NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night Two. This marked the overall third title match confirmation for the two-week special gimmicked event on NXT.

Green has been a women’s tag team champion since the July 17 episode of Raw, when she won the title alongside Sonya Deville. The very next week Deville was detected with an ankle injury that led Green searching for a new partner. This led to Niven inserting herself into the scene who went on to self-declare herself to be the replacement for Deville and thereby the new champion.
Niven and Green have been able to work as a tandem, thus far for the past few months but their bond will be put to a test against Jayne and Hail’s budding friendship at NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night Two. Jayne has previously been a tag champ with Gigi Dolin in the past and she certainly has quite the instincts to become a champion.
