WWE gave an update on Perez following NXT Roadblock 2023
In a digital exclusive that WWE posted on social media following NXT Roadblock 2023, WWE referees and officials seemingly had trouble getting Perez loaded into the ambulance. The title match between Perez and Satomura was scheduled at NXT Roadblock 2023 after Perez called Satomura to be her tag team partner and the two defeated the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter in a tag team match.
After they were successful, Perez awarded Satomura with a future title shot. The title match ended in the champion’s favor but now she’s in a hospital. It’s yet to be revealed whether Perez is dealing with a legit injury or not. She has been the NXT Women’s Champion since defeating former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose on the December 13 edition of NXT.
