Renee Young: A Lookback To The Career Of WWE’s Pioneer Journalist

WWE introducing Renee Young on TV as part of show-hosting or announcing was the perfect change that was needed in their programming. Back at one point when the fans were used to seeing and listening to the same Michael Cole or Jerry Lawler or Josh Matthews, she appeared to be a breath of fresh air. While she was eye-soothing for sure, it’s undeniable that she was also loaded with talents.

With no prior female broadcaster setting an example, Renee Young was all on her own in the WWE locker room whose work ethics and dedication helped in living up to the expectations. Today, she stands as one of the most popular journalists in the world of professional wrestling as well as perhaps the most popular broadcaster in the history of WWE, at least as a woman.
