Renee Young, the former WWE ring announcer, left WWE after SummerSlam. Before leaving the company, she has made a ton of fame using the company’s platform. Some of the fans would undoubtedly consider her to be the best female broadcaster in the history of professional wrestling. However, the feeling isn’t the same for all especially for the woman, herself.
It seems she doesn’t miss the company, this much. Renee Young still has a lot of friends who work there, but apparently, the company’s policy has not suited well with her. WWE tended to take away outside work from their contracted talents. This is something that she couldn’t tolerate, at all and openly talked about the same in her own talk-show.

This week, CM Punk talked about how WWE “funneled” projects to John Cena while taking away projects from other wrestling superstars. Renee Young is having a similar story that was shared on her Oral Sessions podcast. As per her words, WWE pitched some ideas for her own show. When she was excited to be a part of it, the same project would be given to someone else.
“That’s so infuriating like I’ve had so many people say things like that to me since I left, too. Like ‘oh we pitched this for you we wanted you to host a f*cking cooling show with wrestlers,’ I’m like ‘yeah no sh*t that would be great.’”
“Nope, they didn’t give it to me. They’re giving it to Bo Dallas. I love Bo Dallas, like go get it, do what you have to do, but f*ck, like I could never catch a break. Like, I couldn’t get anything done. I couldn’t even get a podcast off the ground. Like, give me a f*cking podcast. Nobody gives a sh*t about that, but still nope, you can’t do it. She has a cookbook that was released without the company’s assistance who now also hosts this new podcast of her own. These are fun opportunities that she is exploring while staying away from the biggest pro-wrestling brand. These ventures could eventually grow as time flies.
As of now, she is approaching the new phase of her life that is motherhood. Renee Young’s pregnancy news was first revealed on live television by her husband Jon Moxley during an episode of AEW Dynamite on November 18. Via recent Instagram and Twitter posts, she revealed that she and the former AEW World Champion will be having a baby girl. There’s no confirmation on her due date.
