Rhea Ripley is one of the most unique female superstars to be present on the WWE Raw roster. She worked hard to enter from NXT to the main roster before many of her contemporaries. It’s safe to say that she cemented herself as one of the top Superstars in the WWE Raw women’s division. After all, she found success in both NXT and the main roster by winning gold.
It also appears that also Rhea Ripley genuinely loves to be a heel when it comes to in-ring persona. The former RAW Women’s Champion has already competed in several solid matches in her short career over the past couple of years. In fact, she is the only NXT Superstar who performed at WrestleMania against the benchmark performer on the main roster, Charlotte Flair.

Currently, she is part of the Judgment Day stable alongside Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio which was created months ago. After Edge was thrown out of this group, the members became even more relaxed and they have been dominating the Monday night scene with authority. They’re literally enjoying their roles as a villainous persona.

Rhea Ripley didn’t want to play a soft babyface role
While speaking with Kenny McIntosh for Inside The Ropes, Rhea Ripley was asked to reflect on the importance of her heel-turn. The Australian Superstar stated that she was becoming too ‘lovey dovey’ during her initial main roster run after WrestleMania 37. She was working as a top babyface but things positively changed after turning heel,
“I think it was really important because things slowly start to get stale, and I’m always up for a change, and I’m always up for a gear change in a way as well, which I think I really needed. I was sort of in the tag division doing my own thing with Nikki A.S.H. and then Liv, and I sort of lost myself and lost that brutal streak that I had in a way as well.
I was becoming too lovey-dovey and just like trying to please people again, which is what I did when I first moved to America and I was in the first-ever Mae Young Classic.”
Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest competed against WWE Hall of Famer Edge and Rey Mysterio, with Rhea Ripley standing in their corner at WWE Clash at the Castle but they ended up losing the match. Despite the shortcoming, the faction got the last laugh as Dominik who was standing in the corner of Edge and Rey, turned heel. With a new member added to their side, the heel group is likely to become stronger.
