Rhea Ripley has become one of the top female figures in the WWE locker room over the course of the past couple of years. Many might believe that this rise in WWE took a lot longer than a lot of fans expected. But ultimately her dues in the WWE have paid off as she’s the only ultimate Grand Slam Champion in the women’s division.
Just a week ago, Rhea Ripley experienced another big WrestleMania moment at the 39th edition when she defeated Charlotte Flair at the showcase of the immortals to win the SmackDown Women’s Title. This makes her the only women’s superstar in the WWE to have captured the now-retired NXT UK as well as NXT Women’s Championship, Raw & Smackdown Women’s Championships alongside the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

As the reigning champion begins her journey in the SmackDown locker room, this week, fans are curious about what her next program will be. WWE has been advertising her to appear on the blue brand show as the new champion. However, her success in her singles stint won’t end the role of being a member of The Judgment Day.

Rhea Ripley to appear on both Raw and Smackdown
Some of the fans expected Rhea Ripley to switch over to SmackDown and possibly disband Judgment Day. But she had chosen to remain with her current team. Appearing on WWE’s The Bump on YouTube, she discussed her plan following the big WrestleMania title win. While she plans to focus on SmackDown as their top women’s champion, her duties with Judgment Day will also admittedly continue,
“It’s Monday Night Mami. Whether Bianca [Belair] likes it or not. Yeah, I might be the SmackDown Women’s Champion, but I ran that place [RAW] with The Judgment Day and I had to go out there and take my moment… I just wanted to remind her that I’m still here and this is still my show, but this was sort of my warning to her, but also a little goodbye cause I will be stepping away more on SmackDown but you might still see me here and there.”
Over on Raw after Wrestlemania 39, Rhea Ripley appeared to confront the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and thereby tease a future encounter between the two, possibly in a Champion vs. Champion scenario. There’s no update on whether WWE is indeed planning on doing this match in the future.
