Roman Reigns admittedly had been a big Trish Stratus fan and it’s been discussed in the past on multiple occasions. The young version of Roman Reigns had a stand-up cardboard cutout of the WWE Legend in his room as a kid.
WWE on BT Sport mentioned that same fact by dropping that photo of the young Tribal Chief who was looking for some Stratusfaction. The edited photo came in line with Trish Stratus’ heel promo on Raw where she said that she’s not a nostalgia act or a childhood fantasy but the greatest of all time.
“Respectfully, Roman Reigns would disagree @trishstratuscom,” the tweet had the caption to which Trish Stratus made an interesting comment by saying, “At least @WWERomanReigns acknowledges me.”

Reason Trish Stratus turned on Becky Lynch on Raw
Over on this week’s Raw, Trish Stratus explained her heel turn from last week, where she attacked Becky Lynch out of nowhere after dropping the women’s tag team championships. She talked about the history and took us back to 2000 when she debuted at a point when women’s wrestling was a joke. She mentioned herself to be a trailblazer who changed things, solely, not her and Lita.

Trish Stratus was the first woman to main-event Raw and even during the first-ever Wrestlemania main event in 2019, the fans should’ve chanted “Thank you Trish” for her contributions to women’s wrestling. It was added that not once did Becky Lynch thank her for opening the door for the next generation. She was sick of seeing Lita being Becky’s sidekick at WrestleMania 39 and hence she also decided to take Lita out of commission.
This is the reason why Trish Stratus also took the responsibility of scr**ing Becky Lynch out of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship as she suffered the pinfall loss. The seven-time women’s champion then ended her promo by saying:
“I’m not a nostalgia act. I’m not your childhood fantasy. I’m the greatest of all time.”
With a lot of animosity brewing between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch, the two are expected to collide in the ring for a dream match in the near future. Many believed that Backlash could have been the event to witness the same but reports suggest that the WWE Universe would have to wait until Summerslam 2023 for it.
