On a shocking turn of events on Smackdown, Paul Heyman made his return in WWE to make an ally with none other than Roman Reigns!
Last night’s SmackDown on FOX, the go-home edition before Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view, featured an angle where WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon ordered WWE Producer Adam Pearce to get signatures on the contract paper from Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt for the No Holds Barred Triple Threat at Payback on Sunday.
Roman Reigns Allies With Returning Paul Heyman On WWE Smackdown
Pearce had been able to get the paper signed by Wyatt and Strowman where he kept on looking for Roman Reigns. He finally caught up with Reigns in the final segment of the show. Pearce gave Reigns the contract and waited while he looked the document over.
Roman Reigns told Pearce he wasn’t signing the contract as he wanted to make some changes to the document. But he guaranteed to be in the match on Sunday and to break everyone, then leave. He also promised to win back the Universal Title that he never lost in the first place. This isn’t just a prediction but a spoiler when the camera focused on Paul Heyman who sitting by his side.
