Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg is a dream match that the fans must have been waiting for such a long time. But apparently, the WWE Universal Champion isn’t thrilled about the idea of this match becoming a reality. So she decided to send a stern warning to his current challenger ahead of this monumental clash.
WWE tweeted a clip to promote Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber on February 19. In that clip, it was billed that the dream bout has been in the making for the past two years as the master of the spears will go 1-on-1 for the first time ever.

It should be noted that originally Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns was planned to happen at Wrestlemania 36 but it was eventually nixed due to the latter name taking time off during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, he responded to WWE’s tweet and presented the Hall of Famer and any potential challengers with a reality check,
“I haven’t been waiting for anything. This world runs on island time. Top of the mountain. Head of the Table. And reality check to any one who thinks they’ll take the #UniversalTitle from me. Including you, Bill. #WWEChamber #IslandOfRelevancy.”

Roman Reigns on a collision course with Goldberg
Goldberg has just returned to WWE TV, during this past Friday edition of WWE SmackDown, challenging Roman Reigns to the match at Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia. The belief is that this will be the only match that he will work with the WWE before summing up his current run as his opponent is already scheduled to defend against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.
In more news to the WWE career of Goldberg, he previously claimed that he had one more match on his ongoing contract, but he’s also stated that he’s signed to WWE through 2023. Updated reports noted that his contract will be up after the Elimination Chamber match. Hence, chances are very high that he stop competing after this match especially given that he needed surgery to be done.
That being said, Roman Reigns is a clear-cut favorite to win this Spear vs. Spear bout at Elimination Chamber and then head onto Wrestlemania 38 main event. It appears that his bout against Brock Lesnar will be a title vs. title match.
